Mr. Arbys
My first observation was at the Arbys in draper right next to the gym. We went in after school, around 5:00 last thursday and inside was this really cranky guy ordering food. At first he couldnt figure out what he wanted to eat and he keot changing his mind. His face was all scrunched up, and his eyerows were contracted inward. He finally ordered but he couldnt find his wallet, although it was in his pocket any way. when he found it he paid in coins..... wow. Then he sat down quick and hard, and it was kinda loud. His arms were sucked into his chest as if he had to protect himself. The guy probably just got laid off. Anyway he had trouble getting his ketchup, as he pressed the despense thing over and over again repeditavley. I told him there probably wasnt any left, and he got more angry, gave me a grumbled "ya thanks" and sat down again. Then he started to notice that i was watching him a little, and he snuck a few glares at me. the man was probably in his early forties, and a little overweight and his eyes were smaller than usual. He kept looking up at me every once in a while and eventually got up and asked me if there was a problem.I said no, and he left. As he passed the good service bell, he looked at it, scoffed and saud "ya right" and then swung the door open as hard as he could. This is the best part because whith the doors on these places, they are designed not to be opened quickly no matter the force applied, so it opened enough for a mouse to get out. Soooo he had to open the door slowly, and his teeth started to clench a little as he left.
Pain at the Gym Women
At the gym, I observed a lady while doing my workout. We were both in the abdominal area. She was probably 30 or 35, she had way to much hair on her head and was very short. She was passing an excersize ball that was double her size to and fro between her arms and her legs. She had a sad and painful expression that made me want to leave. she kept on making groaning sounds and large loud breathing noises. I thought she was going to die! After a while of me staring at her mangled and drooping face of pain, she looked at me and said, "ANYTHING I CAN HELP YOU WITH." i was watching her for way to long, and she was not in a good mood, so i said she looked as though she needed help. She thanked me for being concerned or sumthin, then went back to work. Her body kept shuddering, and her face..... hard to exlain, but her eyes were focused and had a little water in them, her eyebrows were set high on her head, and tilted back. He face was in a frowning crying clenched position. i wish i had a camera... hahah

Henri Carttier Bresson

"In photography, the smallest thing can be a great subject," one of Bresson's greatest quotes. Most of his photography is a collection of such little, human details that many do not notice. He claimed, because of this, that "the camera was an extension of the eye." Cartier-Bresson was born a shy frenchmen in 1908, in Chanteloupe, France, of prosperous middle-class parents. He owned a Box Brownie as a boy, using it for taking holiday snapshots, and later experimented with a 3 X 4 view camera. But he was also interested in painting and studied for two years in a Paris studio. This early training in art helped develop the subtle and sensitive eye for composition, which was one of his greatest assets as a photographer. In 1931, at the age of 22, Cartier-Bresson spent a year as a hunter in the West African bush, when he caught blackwater fever, and retreated home to france. This is when his photo career truly began. He began with a Leica and began snapping a few pictures with it.His imagination caught fire. He recalls how he excitedly "prowled the streets all day, feeling very strung-up and ready to pounce, determined to ‘trap’ life, to preserve life in the act of living." Of all photographers, Bresson had the biggest set back, as well as he overcame it the fastest. When he was drafted for world war II, he was captured by the german, and held in a brutal POW camp. He tried to escape and complete his photo career twice, but you know that the third time is a charm. He ran back to france, and i mean ran literally. And then his career flew, ta da!!! HE died at the age of 95. Many of his pictures arent all that awsome, just pictures of the frech streets. But hey there okay! sorta. I like the texture in the one that looks all watery

Ansel Adams

Ansel Adams was born on Feburary 20, 1902, in San Francisco, California. Adams was the son of a very wealthy business man. adams was sent to mostly private schools, however despite this he was moslty self taught. Eventually, Adam's personality caught up with him, and he became the class.... circus. Much more than a clown, Adams brought histericall laughter to his peers, as well as constantly mocking most of his teachers. Adam's father seemed almost to understand how his son felt, and pulled him to home schooling. One of the major focuses of hi schooling at home, was the piano. HE became an amazing pianist, which was thought by many to be his career. Later, Ansel began to visit many museums in San Francisco, and fell in love with a new kind of art. Not photography, but simply art which developed into a love of photography when he visited the Pnama- Pacific International Exposition. The place wasfull of photography that inspired ansel. His first camera was a box brownie, a gift from his parents when they traveled to Yosemite Nsational Park, which was where his photo career began. Ansel Adams married Virginia Best in January 1929, which was the first time he second guessed his career. He could no longer decide between music and photographs. He began to look at more works, and finally fell in love with photo again. aren't we glad!I love the pictures above and if i wre to ever get to choose my own final project, that doeesnt have a theme that i must follow until death do i part, it would be landscapes. These give me a feeling of freedom and choice! thats what i feel when i see 'em! The light on the one with the rocks is the coolioesst! looks like the only mountain in heaven!
